Fabiia was founded by Interior designer, Shija Walia and her husband Dr. Jiten Walia, who both share a profound love for design, entrepreneurship, value creation and innovation.
Launched in London in 2006, Fabiia started as a soft furnishings company selling signature furnishings to interior designers, department stores and boutique shops across the UK. What started out as a labour of love has today bloomed into a vibrant company with an enviable array of home and lifestyle products on offer.
Shija’s work has been published in over 50 design magazines and 2 TV shows in the UK, namely the BBC2’s Classical Star and 60 Minute Makeover.
Today, with offices in UK and Dubai, Fabiia is a specialist supplier of several established British and European interior brands and the sole distributor of some of these brands for the Middle East region.
Using ‘design’ as a language of communication, and led by strong principles of management and business ethics, Fabiia hopes to create experiences and build relationships with its customers and partners alike, that are above and beyond the ordinary.

We are so fascinated by the effect of interiors on people who use them and how these spaces create certain moods and behaviours in people. We believe that spaces play a host to the people who use them and it is therefore important for them to be designed with care and consideration so that people can thrive and enjoy the space at the same time.
We hope to create experiences through the interiors we help create that enhance and amplify the lives of those who use them.
Our process is rigorous, yet, very simple. We sit down with our clients, listen to their requirements, try and understand their needs and work collaboratively with them to come up with a product or a solution that best satisfy their need to make a new reality for them.
